When we finally started venturing outside after the pandemic, we were drawn to Bethany’s backyard for a Material Flats performance. It was one of the first evenings that felt “normal” after a long time inside without live music. Bethany’s energetic vocals and rock sensibilities will get everyone shakin’ their little butts.

We first saw Phillip-Michael Scales open for JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound at Sleeping Village back in 2019. We were instantly drawn to his charismatic performance blending storytelling and original music. Since then, we’ve done our best to catch his shows whenever he’s in town and we’re excited you get to hear him too!

Our first show together at Thalia Hall, we saw PKEW PKEW PKEW open for The Hold Steady back in 2018. Hailing from Toronto, their classic pop-punk sound and relatable lyrics about noisy neighbors, fresh popes, and lazy summer days are sure to get you on your feet, jumping up and down, and belly laughing til your dogs start barking.
